So, I can't believe I have lived for almost 2 years in the lentil capital of the world and until yesterday had yet to try lentils. I finally did and the lentil hamburger soup I made got a rating of 10 from mr.monkey, 145 from silly monkey and 17 from chunky monkey.
We have this silly game of rating the dinners, mr. monkey and I use the 1-10 scale, the other monkeys of the family haven't quite got the whole numbers concept firmly established yet - and so for your interpretation, a 10 is very rare from mr.monkey, in fact I can't remember the last 10, often a half hearted ,polite 8 or 8.5 is offered up, but a 10 - wow. A 145 is pretty good, but not quite as good as skabetti which is the favorite and usually gets a rating in the 160's from silly monkey. Chunky monkey gives ratings which are obviously influenced by, well we don't really know what makes that monkey tick yet, but I'll assume that since he didn't throw the bowl across the room that 17 is good.
